Websites for services (Essential Package) will be scheduled on my calendar for a period of 2 weeks, but it could be completed sooner if you have fewer pages or less extensive content. E-commerce stores (Elevate Package) will be scheduled over 3-4 weeks depending on number of pages, products and integrations. If you require additional services or add-ons (like copywriting), I may require more time. The start date of your project will depend on my current schedule, but I'll book you in for my earliest opening!

It's totally fine if you don't have content yet. I provide a guide to help you write your copy and source free stock images if necessary, and I give you some time to get it all together prior to the design start date. You'll also have access to free stock images from Wix's extensive library, which I can source for you, and I can write copy for an additional fee. Of course you're welcome to hire a copywriter or photographer if you choose.

My SEO services focus on on-page optimization to help your website rank higher in search results. This includes optimizing key elements like title tags, header tags, meta descriptions, alt text, headings, and internal linking. I also resize and compress images to ensure they load quickly while still looking sharp and high-quality. Your content also needs to be keyword-friendly. While content writing isn’t included in my packages, I will incorporate your relevant keywords into your provided content as part of my SEO services. If you ned help with your content writing, I'm happy to provide a quote.

A revision is simply an edit or change. While there’s no set limit to the number of edits I allow, two full rounds of revisions are included, in addition to small final adjustments. For the Essential package, the first week will focus on adding your content, designing the site, and integrating any necessary tools. The second week will be dedicated to implementing revisions, refining layouts, and finalizing the details to ensure everything is polished. For the Elevate package, the first week will focus on adding your content and designing the site, with the opportunity for feedback. The second week will be dedicated to implementing revisions, adding products, and any additional integrations. In the third week, we’ll complete the final revisions and polish everything to perfection. The process is super simple with my online proofing program. You can mark specific elements and add comments directly on the page—no back-and-forth emails!

Yes! Your current site will stay active during the design process. I’ll duplicate your pages and work off the duplicates so it doesn't affect your live site.

Credit/debit cards through Paypal, Stripe & Square E-transfer (Canadian clients)

Yes you will, but Wix's premium plans are very affordable. If you're not accepting payments on your website, premium annual plans start at $16 CAD/mo, and ecommerce plans start at $27 CAD/mo. You can save even more with 2 or 3 year plans, and they often have 50% off promotions. The monthly plans are a little higher. Your custom domain will be around $20 CAD annually (annual premium plans include a free domain). If you choose to install premium apps, those may also have a monthly fee, but Wix has tons of really great free apps and included features to keep costs down. You really shouldn't have to pay for apps to get most of the features you'll need.

This is a huge benefit to my American friends! Although my prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD), US clients pay much less than the listed prices due to the exchange rate. Although exchange rates fluctuate, working with me is a great way to get a premium quality service at (at least) 30% less than if you pay in US Dollars. Yay!

It's a quick 20 minute introductory call to get acquainted and discuss your website needs. It's a relaxed conversation, and you can choose between phone or video (Zoom is the default), but just let me know if you'd prefer a phone call). If you need a custom package, we can discuss the details and I'll give you a quote after our call.

When you're ready to proceed, I'll send your invoice and service agreement. Simply sign and pay your deposit, and I'll book you in for my next available design date

Now the fun begins! You will have a bit of homework, but it's the fun kind! In most cases, you'll have at least 2 weeks to get everything together before I start designing. And of course, I'm here to help if needed. 1. I'll send a questionnaire to gather all the important details of your business and project 2. You'll receive: A Google Drive folder to upload and organize your content A Client Portal with a chat feature and all the specific details and project info so we can both stay organized during the process A helpful Content Guide on writing your content and sourcing stock images (if needed) 3. After submitting your questionnaire and getting all your content together, simply upload it into the designated GD folders so I know where to put it all on your website. Done!
